HOUSTON (September 23, https://maudeofficial.com/ 2019) More than 200 guests joined former Houston Texan and NFL Pro Bowler Wade Smith along with Neera Patidar and Amanda Abiassi of Elevate Management Group at a star-studded 2019 Bulls and Blackjack Celebrity Poker and Casino event raising $150,000 benefitting the Wade Smith Foundation.

A lively Texas Hold ’em tournament culminated the evening with the last celebrity standing winning $10,000 to benefit the charity of their choice. Professional poker player Maria Ho was the last celebrity standing, for a second time, with her $10,000 winnings going to The Wade Smith Foundation. New York Giants legend, Chris Calloway took home the top player prize in the Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament Championship. The legendary, star-studded event was held Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Astorian.

Guests enjoyed an over-the-top casino party with a celebrity red carpet, live entertainment, blackjack, craps, and roulette tables with chances to win luxury prizes. Party-goers were also greeted by a surprise performance by the classically-trained, Lee England Jr., known as the "Soul Violinist," and Brand Ambassador for Michael Jordan.

The Vegas-style evening is exclusively catered by International Smoke, with VIP Bar offerings by Residences at The Allen, and generous sponsorships from Grey Goose, Frost Bank and New York Life Houston.

Celebrity guests included: DJ Reader, Arian Foster, Jonathan Joseph, Brennan Scarlett, Kevin Walter, Andre Hal, Seth Payne, Cecil Shorts, Mia Gradney, Chita Craft, Brandi Smith, Jonathan Martin, and Page Parkes.

In addition to luxury gifts from Saint Laurent featured in the silent auction, party goers also bid on a one-of-kind experience at the National Finals Rodeo complete with 100-level seats for George Strait and luxury accommodations at the Mirage Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, and an all-inclusive, private island experience for two in an over-the-water bungalow at Thatch Caye in Belize.
